A pretty good pressing. The bass on The Gloaming is fantastic. Surface noise is occasionally pretty noticeable, though, and there's a little distortion in the high end of some tracks.

Would someone please verify whether or not this pressing says "Printed in NA." and "Place of manufacturer as stated on label" on the back? I picked up a copy with these markings, but no place of manufacture can be found on the labels either. It also came with a download voucher. Thanks in advance!

I can confirm this. Located in USA; my copy came from Amazon and “Printed in NA” appears underneath the barcode while “Place of manufacture etc.” is to the right and oriented vertically.

My copy of this has a slight variant. I bought it the day of release but disc 1 has the label with the indentation in it like the pictures in the "More Images" gallery but the second disc does not have this indentation at all (the run out grooves and label information is exactly the same though: 1C1/1D1 le loup/LC 0299 on the label). I always assumed it was just like that but seeing the images makes me wonder; these were not sealed (back in the early 2000s records rarely came sealed) and when I bought it at the shop the discs were put in by the guy behind the counter. I wonder if they are from two different pressing plants or something?

My copy of this release came on super flat vinyl with a low noise floor. Regular light pops that may reduce or disappear with cleaning. The soundstage is very big with great separation. Bottom end is slightly thin but mid-bass is punchy. Highs are detailed and crisp but not bright. Great stereo effect. Vocals are warm and airy. A great album and equally great pressing. I recommend this release. (Rega Planar 3, Exact 2 cart, PSE Studio SL, Linn LK85, Linn interconnects, Linn Katans)

My copy sounds awesome. Just picked it up over the weekend and spun it once. Was a great trip down memory lane and just plain awesome sounding. There is so much thickness to the mix it sounds even better in this press (the only vinyl press of the album that I've ever heard/owned) than the CD I got back in 2003. I think I had a about 20 seconds with a repeating audible click on one song but I'm convinced it was just debris.

I have a version that matches the matrix runout, le chien and le loup are etched in the runout, but the sleeve is not the same as the one shown here. Sleeve matches the 2009 reissue version. Does anybody know about this?

Tried 2 copies both with minor surface noise like the previous comment. It's not unbearable but you can hear some clicks and pops through the music which is a little annoying. Other than that, the record sounds good.

Wednesday afternoon 11th January 2017:Earlier today I posted the matrices for my copy which arrived today. I only now discovered that the scratched out machine-stamped portions on each side are exactly the same as the matrices on the 2003 UK/EU pressing. Correct me if I'm wrong, that means the original 2003 plates were used to press this domestic ish, yah? Great!Unfortunately, the vinyl is not the best. Although it's flat, centered, surface noise is audible. It's not as quiet as vinyl made by Record Industry aka Music On Vinyl in The Netherlands or that by Optimal in Germany or even GZ Vinyl's pressings (that is, on a good day). Mastering is fine, though --- clear upper-mids, robust bass.

This to great surprise of singer Thom Yorke himself, particularly during the experimental albums Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001) a heavy personal and musical crisis was going through. After these two plates, which seemed to be especially made to never having to experience the suffocating success of OK Computer (1997), Radiohead on Hail To The Thief gently back to the guitar sound of the best songs album The Bends (1995), albeit with the musical baggage that the group members have gained in the years afterwards. Thom Yorke still sounds as if he carries in itself the suffering of the world. He covered himself in interviews all in against any criticism of his inimitable songs: ' listen to the cd, but please do not attach importance to the lyrics! ' Who takes to heart that Council hear an exciting but again very heavy alternative rock plate with the necessary electronic influences.

Dead quiet, some slight sibilance on the beginning of sides I've noticed, but once it's a minute or so end that dissipates. However, I haven't tried cleaning the LPs yet or play them more than once so it may go away.Overall, really quiet, very detailed.

I'm trying to differentiate this edition from this one: https://www.discogs.com/Radiohead-Hail-To-The-Thief/release/5453484 (2009) - it's still factory sealed & I'd prefer to leave it that way for selling purposes. Any help?

Any info on the deadwax? Does it have 'ADAM le chien' etched like on the original Parlophone or is it a new pressing?
