Just recently got a copy assumed to be original, BUT. Sound is bad, volume goes up an down on the A-side and the B-side is general low quality. A-side with the two bangers also seems slower than most clips up online from originals. It's definitely not a new pressing. Label gradient is a bit more rough than in the pictures. Sleeve printing is a bit off. Scratched in the dead wax is TLP 1002 A and TLP 1002 B. Anyone else has a copy like this or know anything about it? Possible bootleg with a bad tape as the source? Can't find anything when looking around online about the existence of such a thing.

But don't expect top sound quality from any Nigerian record unless it's stock or well taken care of, which is rare. Most records from Nigeria are not in great shape. I'm not aware of any pitch issues, but I know some rips on YouTube have been pitched up. Your right, the condition of these records are often terrible, but I managed to find an original copy of this LP (in a bin in Bristol, no less!) and the actual pressing is faultless - it sounds amazing.

yes i have this version too. just did an A/B with the other vintage pressing. this one is 7-8% slower and a bit quieter. interestingly, aside from the dropout problems there was a consensus that the A-side of this version sounds slightly better (really close though). B-side sounds underwater. "Enjoy Your Life" plays best out of everything on the LP (dropout problems seem to lessen as the A-side proceeds). i guess maybe the tape machine was dirty or miss-aligned when this version was cut?
