Jack Teagarden, a first team player in any jazz band is featured singing and playing his trombone on recordings from the VARSITY label. These sides have not been available since the early forties and have been remastered with precious care by the legendary sound wizard Jack Towers.This important Savoy issue restores to the catalogue all sixteen titles Jack Teagarden recorded for VARSITY, his label in 1940.
