Maridor
Been a fan of Heavy music 36 yrs counting, since I first picked up Slayer Hell Awaits, Mercyful Fate DBTO, or any Motörhead, but some Death Metal I’ve been slow to get into other than the obvious. Few mnths back, I caught Gruesome first night of 2017 tour at Slidebar in Fullerton and I’ve been really hooked. This is one fantastic album, lyrically, groove, solos, and sound production are top notch. The songs with its theme of a doom, savage society works well and I definitely enjoy this one more than “horrors”. The soundstage is deep and has decent mids however there is some surface noise but nothing that a good cleaning shouldn’t fix . Stop bitching and crank this up, Go Death or go home!
