happy light
These little EP’s are both a curse and a blessing ... though a drain on my pocketbook for sure. But with teaser tracks, guest artists, and song variations, I ask you, “What’s a girl to do?” “Buy the damn EP without a second thought,” is the answer. 3 Stories delivers for all it’s worth, “Chinatown” is featured on the album Penthouse, as is the song “23 Minutes In Brussels,” featuring Tom Verlaine of Television on guitar, and a delightful version of “Bonnie And Clyde” [of which there are nearly a half dozen variations, and has never shown up on a formal Luna album], with vocals by Laetitia Sadier, from Stereolab. 3 Stories was issued as a promotional release only, and has been out of print for quite some time, so finding a copy may prove a bit difficult, though the rewards are well worth your efforts. The blue sticker featuring the tracks and tracking information can be found on either the front or rear of the jewel case, though it does tend to fall apart, and looses its colouring with the least bit of handling, so try to avoid touching it.
