Notes
Issued in a gatefold sleeve and on 'pink rim' Island labels.Artist reads "Stomu Yamash'ta and his Red Buddha Theatre" on center labels,
℗ 1973 Island Records Ltd.
A L★★ner Enterprises Production
Tracks A3 and B1 were recorded live at the Carré Thorigny Theatre Paris on 30th October 1972; the remainder were recorded at Advision Studios, London, in November 1972.
This is the 2nd UK pressing with a different tracklist to the first pressing. Here we have "Scoop" as A1, "Ana Orori" as A2 and "Mountain Pass" placed at the end of the album as B3. Tracklist above is the correct one, but the sleeve and center labels are wrongly printed for this version, and still show the tracklist of the first pressing. They show :
A1 Sunrise*
A2 My Little Friend
A3 What A Way To Live In Modern Times
A4 Mountain Pass
B1 Mandala
B2 Memory Of Hiroshima
See pictures : side 2 has only two tracks listed on label but there are actually 3 bands on the disc.
* but isn't "Sunrise" the same song as "Scoop" under a different title ? The durations of both tracks are exactly the same.
