Dead Samurai
at the beginning of the nineties i used to organize underground concerts in the area of mannheim / ludwigshafen in germany. during this time a new band has formed in my circle of friends, nyctophobic. when I was shortly thereafter the first time in the rehearsal room, I was so excited that I spontaneously said we have to make a concert. and so it came that nyctophobic played together with agathocles in mannheim. the concert was well frequented, as usual with agathocles, and nyctophobic also came very well with the audience. almost the concert would not have taken place, because a few hours before the beginning, it turned out that the guy who should put the pa and mix, let me hang. within a short time i managed to get another guy, called fusch, who usually mixed reggae concerts. but what can I say, the sound was really good, bombastic. fusch mixed unbeliveable great. on the same evening, I had asked both bands, if I could publish a split-7 " - of course. with the recordings of nyctophobic there were unfortunately problems, so we had to take recordings from another concert, at least one that also took place in mannheim. but nevertheless this 7" is a nice reminder of this great evening. and from up this evening fusch mixed all the concerts in organized.
