Sodom - Obsessed By Cruelty mp3 album

Despite what is written on the back cover, the Banzai version is not the second recording of the album (made near Nuremberg) but the first, rejected version (made in Berlin). The "intro" to both recordings are very different: the Berlin one lasts 1:53 (despite what is written on the Banzai label) and mainly uses slowed down vocal, organ and guitar feedback while the Nuremberg one lasts 0:55 and features drum, bass, guitar and vocal instead. In short: if there is no drum beat but an organ in the intro, it is the first, rejected, Berlin version; if there is a drum beat and no organ in the intro, it is the second, company-approved, Nuremberg version. Taken from Metal-Archives' additional notes on the album:Obsessed by Cruelty was actually recorded twice, and both versions of the album were released in different territories due to an error by the record company. The first session was recorded in Berlin, supposedly by Horst Müller, with Destructor as the guitarist. The record company deemed the recording quality to be too poor for the album to be released, so all the tracks, as well as a new one called "After the Deluge", were recorded again at Studio Hilpoltstein (near Nuremberg) by Bobby Bachinger, with a new guitarist called Ahäthoor (aka Assator). The original, rejected, recording from Berlin was accidentally used on the original US edition, released by Metal Blade, and most editions of the album on all formats. I don't know if all the run is that way but on my vinyl copy of the Banzai records edition, VOLCANIC SLUT is written on sleeve and label and is absent.

I think that the track Volcanic slut is there, but it is on the other side of the record. If I am not mistaken, the track "after the deluge" is actually the one missing

I don't know either, but my Banzai copy is like that too. 12 tracks (6 and 6) written on sleeve and label, but side B ("side Cruelty" as stated, the side with banzai logo) has 5 tracks only, Volcanic Slut is missing.
