The Arkhams - The Road To Arkham mp3 album

The best psychobilly album I have in my collection! They are exceptionally tight on these songs. There is a Ramones feel to some of the songs, Beatles feel to others, Stray Cats feel to some and the instrumentals take on more Shadows/Hank Marvin than the typical Dick Dale/Ventures thing. All 4 of them really know how to play their instruments well and can deliver a tune impeccably. Unlike other psychobilly bands of the day, there is almost zero cookie cutter zombie/graveyard crap on this album. I especially like hearing the interplay between Bobcat and Johnny's guitar playing, they sound almost like one guitar player with 6 hands and 30 plus strings. The chord structures are very unique, and almost completely break the rules at every turn
