It's the sum of years of hard work. Everything that's been keeping Ørjan Nilsen busy in mind, was translated to sound. Being an open-minded person makes it no surprise that his debut album 'In My Opinion' rides a diverse sound, blending house, trance, progressive and everything else that tickles his fancy. One by one, the soul sketches of the Norwegian DJ and producer are revealed. This time, it's his double release 'Between The Rays' and 'The Mule' that's going to blow the minds of thousands.Pleasing both the prog-house lovers as well as the harder trance addicts, is exactly what 'Between The Rays' has in mind. It has all the potential to make you lose your mind, riding a playful and contagious melody that gets stuck in your head right after the first play. It kicks in, but never kicks out again. 'Between The Rays' perfectly translates that feeling of reaching out to the lasers, surrounded by thousands of like-minded music lovers. Rough, tough, but soothing at the same time.On the flipside, Ørjan continues his path to big room. 'The Mule' is made of punching tech-sounds, marching snares and mind-blowing synth-stabs. Deep bass, gaps of minimalistic silence and a hard-kicking melodic impact, that's what makes 'The Mule' a must-play at any event.

How could anyone give this single less than 5 stars? You'd have to be demented or completely uneducated about music.

i completely agree, if you cannot feel this single (especially between the rays) you have no soul and are certainly dead to me! that track is an absolute masterpiece

The release from start to finish is void of anything that would make a true fan of progressive trance want to listen to it. It does not deserve a second listen.

I thoroughly enjoy this release. What a massive track BTR is. Even with The Mule on here, BTR makes it worth while.

because The Mule is a bit crappy. :p
