This extremely low-priced sampler was my first introduction to Dub-music: reggae-vibes, reverb & delay, weird FX & a whole lot of ganja! As is often the case with this kind of releases, it offers all the big names (Israel Vibration, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, King Tubby & Augustus Pablo) but never their best tracks. The main exception here is Black Uhuru's "Shine Eye Dub", a true classic. For me the biggest discovery was Horace Andy, who I only knew from his work with Massive Attack. To this day he is still one of my favourite rastafari-artists, especially because of his melancholic voice. So if you'd like to dig a little deeper than Bob Marley, this is a great place to start, but "daily dubbers" probably won't find anything interesting here...
