Coming from a huge hip-hop head who has listened to a lot of hip-hop and other genres, I have to say that The Feeling of Now is one of the most underrated albums of all time - just like the group who made it. In addition, it's also one of the greatest albums in my opinion. The first thing you will notice when you put the album on is the theme and composition of the whole album. That alone puts you into a special kind of zone you have never been in before. It takes you back to the good old golden age of hip-hop, where the beats and lyrics were top. The production of the album is some of the best I have ever heard, the first two tracks "The Feeling of Now" and "Decomposure" have some of the best samples I have heard, and the way each track go into each other is also perfect. Now that I have covered the production and theme of the album, I still gotta talk about the two rappers, Cadence and Pitch, and their lyrics. While not on the same level as, say, Rakim & Nas, they can still hold their own on this LP, with clever rhymes and meaning behind them. Even if their lyrics won't impress you much, the production alone will have you going back again and again to this album. With hip-hop elements such as scratching, you can clearly hear how much effort and work was put into the LP. The interludes help the theme of the album, and they are some of the only interludes I don't skip. If you are a fan of not just hip-hop, but music as a whole, you need to give this album a listen and buy it. You will not regret doing so. Also, check out Cadences solo albums and his album in group "Alternate Reality".R.I.P to Cadence of Raw Produce. You will never be forgotten by the true hip-hop heads.10/10
