Fast Lovebird
I saw their music video Mambo Witch and I thought that song was great. Then I decided to buy this album and after assimilation I wanted to slit my f***ing wrist. Ugh! So gay and stupid. 210
Beardana
This was a pretty great representation of Belgium's version of 'Kraut' industrial. This new beat/industrial band was never afraid to make fun of themselves or take themselves too seriously without still making a pounding political statement. And this record is chock full of it all. Though the mastering is not the best it is meant to be turned way up. "Bend My Body Armour", "Mambo Witch" and "Colosseum Crash" are incredible moments in the band's oeuvre. But the sparkling moments here are on the slower tracks... "The Last Wave", "From The Inside" and "Colonial Discharge"(previously released but reworked a slight bit) are gems. The progression into the harder and more guitar heavy later releases disappointed me as a fan so I will always still return to the first few albums. This is my go to A Split-Second on headphones.
