Zadora
Whenever somebody I know tells me they are getting into scratching, I play them "Skanky Panky". Not in a "You must be this tall to enjoy this ride" kind of way, more of a "Have you ever considered that you could sound like this?" kind of way. For fun I ask how many decks and DJs they think would be necessary to play the tune live (IIRC, it's 7 and 3).

This is a wacky lp, at points in the literal cartoonesque meaning. At the same time it is a masterful workout in advanced techniques of turntablism. But not in a scratchathon over some sweet jazz-funk. It shows a musician pushing the boundaries of their instrument, not in a scholarly or overtly formal way, but with fun and weirdness.
