Unereel
The pressing is bad, sorry. It's noisy, a lot of pops on the very first play after an initial cleaning. I'm only keeping it for "collection"'s sake, and to justify downloading the digital format. They should have released this in 45rpm, without all the bonus stuffm just like their first album. The band/music is great, the pressing is deeply disappointing.
Funky
i enjoyed this album i think its better than the début release personally , but the sound quality is much better in fact the only way to go is in the digital format on this release , analogue is thin with harmonic distortion
Nikohn
Woah! This really is a bad pressing, what a shame. Barely got through Side A. Pops and noise throughout Rooting For You and then a TERRIBLE constant clicking noise at the end of Big Picture. The chorus of Wild Eyed - my favourite track of this release - is filled with cracks and pops, makes this beautiful song almost unlistenable. Oh Woman Oh Man sounds "best", but still awful. Haven't had such a bad experience with a new release in quite some time now, this is really really disappointing.
Teonyo
One of the worst sounding productions I know, especially on CD. Compressed to death, no dynamics, lots of hiss and distortion. Unlistenable to me. Poor songwriting as well. I absolutely loved their debut album but this one will be a shelf warmer. Have a listen to the demo version of "Trials" (which sounds great) und you will understand how the mastering destroyed the album.
Road.to sliver
unsurprisingly not. I didn't chase though (as i would with smaller labels). I did hear that the MPO pressing was better but it will still be the same mix and master
greatest
Hi there, did you get any feedback from the label?
happy light
totally agree. Very compressed and the Deluxe pressing tracks poorly. ...constant pops and clicks just add insult to injury. I emailed MOS/Sony label but don't expect to get a reply. If you were the band why wouldn't care about this??
Spilberg
If you want to buy this on vinyl, make sure to get the MPO pressing (USA and France).GZ Vinyl pressings are - once again, I regret to add - of deplorable quality.
Thetalen
I bought the MPO pressing when i trad your comment on discogs after buying 2 other pressing with bad sound quality.MPO version sounds great!!
Dawncrusher
Looking at the codes etched into the runout... maybe mine isn't a GZ... it seems they might have had these pressed up more than one place.
spark
I have the GZ pressing and it sounds divine. Maybe you got a bad one?
Wenaiand
The records of this release are not marbled. My copy included a download voucher.
Anarahuginn
Anyone know how many of these were pressed on the "marbled" vinyl? They sold out pretty quick.
TheSuspect
Hello, I've ordered the signed and marbled vinyl but got unsigned black too. Did you get the correct marbled one eventually?
Damand
same here, it was sold out like in one day so probably somewhere near 500 copies were made I suppose...
Dolid
Not sure but am on the lookout as well!words words
