I spend almost two years hunting through record store shelves for this elusive document and though the sound quality is most definitely sub-par, I can say that I was not disappointed in the slightest. A lot of the versions I heard of this concert before are definitely inferior to the songs on the vinyl (mostly because a lot of CD sources are ripped from home-brew recordings of the vinyl), and plus this is one of those cases where listening to it on vinyl is actually better, mainly because it clears up the sound on what is already a quite muddy concert tape. As a long-time pink floyd fanatic, it is more than just a treat to hear these legendary rare performances in the best sound quality currently available, and the musicianship from the band on this is just excellent: With Gilmour employing the "seagull" guitar effect for the first time ever on "Embryo" (second performance ever) that would later be used in echoes, some of wright's best keyboard work on "Sysyphus" and "The Violent Sequence", A very rare nick Mason drum solo on "Atom Heart Mother" (known at that time as the amazing pudding), and a spine-tinglingly terrifying psychotic ramble from roger on "Sysyphus" Highly reminiscent of the ummagumma track "Several species of small furry animals" or the school teacher from the wall. Though there are a handful of other concerts from the same time period with other versions of these rare songs on them (a good example being the Europa broadcast with the violent sequence and the amazing pudding in crystal clear sound quality), the rare songs performed at this concert are easily the best versions, with a lot of good energy from the band. I know that the sound quality isn't very good and that might put a lot of people off, but If you are a huge fan of pink floyd (especially of the albums "More", "Ummagumma" and the unreleased "Zabriskie Point" Soundtrack) this is totally worth your money. To really do justice to just how rare this performance/setlist is, I'm going to write out a more detailed setlist, just so that anybody interested in this album knows what's in store:Side A:1. The Embryo (second performance ever, the first to employ the famous gilmour "seagull" effect)2. Main Theme From The Film More (only three live recordings, clearest sounding version)Side B:1. Careful With That Axe Eugene (common, but still an exceptional rendition)2. Sysyphus (incl. Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict) (only live recording, Full band comes in at the end with roger's psychotic rambling into the front mic)Side C:1. The Violent Sequence (aka. Project Birmingham) (incl. Heartbeat Pigmeat (only two live performances, clearest version), Quicksilver (rarely performed in 1970), Moonhead (rare song, first live recording, used a couple of times as an introduction of "Embryo" in 1970), The Violent Sequence (4 live recordings exist, one clearer version on "Europa 1", but this Is undoubtedly the best version, very beautiful)) Side D:1. The Amazing Pudding (early Atom Heart Mother) (incl. Very Rare Nick Mason Drum Solo) (cuts out at the end unfortunately)

Sadly, not great quality (although better than the CD and downloads that are circulating), but what a gig ! Features one of the few live recordings of Main Theme from More, as well as the ONLY ( so far) recordings of Sysyphus, which sees our boys heading towards free improv / AMM realms. Fantastic document !
