Excellent rework of "Go Deh Yaka" released in USA, 1983 (which, as I said, is one of my favourites). This remix does not mess up the original version or use only some samples. This could be defined as a "power mix", as the final result is very clean, with a more powerful, fat and modern sound. If you liked the original, this one will please you! If you never had the original, don't worry as this release features also the original Club Mix. Grab a copy while you can!

This is one of my all-time favorite, one of the greatest tunes of Disco-Reggae and of the whole 80's. I always loved this track. I found it, when i was a boy, on an untitled cassette recorded live in a disco near where I live, I always being wondering which that amazing song was. Then when i started using Internet, i began to browse various 80's-related sites, when the title popped out. It was blazing! And finally i found out vinyl.It sounds great how Monyaka, with the backing of John Morales and Sergio Munzibai (two great mixers!), meshed traditional reggaedub to the sonorities of the early eighties.It just sounds perfect! A "must mix" in a selection of 100-and-around BPM tracks.I love this American press because, unlike the Polydor's English one, the cut of Herbie is extremely clean, crisp and loud (also if it runs at 33.3 RPM), the reflexes on the grooves creates a cool effect, the cover is solid with nice picture and the pressing itself looks really sturdy and durable.
