Anyone know the label this and the oddments bootleg were put out on? Trying to find the origin.

Anybody else order this and get a black vinyl instead of the clear blue?

I ordered from elsewhere, refunded the postage, he said the blue wax had bubbles in it? didnt play well? but the black was okay. I was looking forward to the blue too.

I ordered from HHV. I thought maybe they pressed on the wrong color wax. Kinda wanted the clear blue but oh well.

Same like "Oddments", beyond the fact, that it could not to be official, this is a pretty good pressing, seems to be from the US (?), nice small high gloss cover, no gatefold.

I bought a copy of each, just out curiousity if nothing else, and yes I agree. Simple packaging, but the sound quality is okay. Doesn't escape the fact that it's a bootleg copy though!

I bought both of these bootlegs from a store in Chicago and they sound pretty good actually. still obviously eagerly awaiting the flightless reissues but id grab one for cheap (paid 40) so you can to tide yourself over

Just bought both this and oddments from a store in Phoenix. Seems to have pretty good distributors for being bootleg/counterfeit pressing

Do you have any authority in the matter? Who are you to pass judgment? You don't like it? Don't buy it and don't engage in the behavior. I don't support bootlegging myself, but I also mind my own business. The artists are adults and can fend for themselves. How do you know what someone else cares about without talking to them? You assume that knowledge?

Why do you really care? Does it hurt you personally?

If they didn't want people stealing it then they should replicate it themselves. There's no current way to buy this record that supports the band

Doesn't matter who made it. This is an illegal replication of someones work which is disgusting. This should not be advocated by anyone. If you support the illegal production of someones work, you don't care about the band or the music, you care about yourself.

How do you know that these weren't done by a fan via a small pressing plant? Maybe these have come about cos somebody got tired of waiting for Flightless to get this an Oddments repressed! I'm now waiting to see bootlegs of Float Along & Eyes Like Sky to appear!

these aren't bootlegs though this is an outright counterfeit, bootlegs implies they're a recording done by a fan etc, which in theory they technically do own the copyright, this is totally infringement of federal law and copy right laws, shouldn't even be promoted on here to begin with.

Bootlegs should be listed, but they should also be blocked from sale, I think we'll just have to wait for Flightless to take action to stop it.
