How is the remix going for more than the original? Is there a general view that this was better or is the flip deemed a belter. I genuinely don't get it?!
Flas
One of the defining sounds of the uk scene....it will come full circle once again
Haralem
Absolute classic that defined the uk scene in its day and sent us all crazy on the dancefloors
Malodora
A heavy wild hardcore track with the mother of all drops/kicks. Used to send masses of people crazy back in the day.Big keys & chords, one snappy beat and key sample use - 'This Sound Is For The Underground'.Up there with the other summer 1992 big hitters... Bombscare, Hurt You So, Edge 1, Dub War etc.

Suburban base reissue is a gift to all ravers ! But the fact that some sellers allready trying to upgrade the cost of a ment to be lowprise record is a really sad- bad selling attitude???? I got it allready but i'm pistoff ...

Great 12" main track is "This Sound Is For The Underground". Huge hardcore tune back in its day.Just have a listen and make up your own mind, if your an Old School Hardcore fan you wont be disappointed.
Doath
Favorite release on SUBBASE hands down! So many to choose from, but this one just keeps doing it =)
GEL
so happy to finally have this on vinyl! big up!
Phobism
Brilliant re-press - sounds just as raw, inventive and powerful as it did 25 years ago
Clonanau
Don't feed the scalpers - black vinyl re-issue of this coming in May 2017!
Rayli
leggyemulous Don't feed the scalpers - black vinyl re-issue of this coming in May 2017! did this really happen?
Marilore
This is the best release from the excellent Suburban Base and one of the best hardcore vinyl ever made. Both tunes are perfection.
Cozius
I totally agree nothing quite jumps out like this.... 10/10

To be quite honest, as like a few tunes from the 91/92 era, the E5 remix doesn't sound very much different from the original track. Same goes for the Kicks like a mule remix of Don't go. Glad I can download this from Itunes.

Did you know that 'This Sound Is For The Underground' is sampled from the 3 Knights 'Burial Proceedings In The Coarse Of 3 Knights' (Music Of Life) as many Hardcore Rave tracks at the time sampled UK Hip Hop
CONVERSE
this sounds for the underground sample is taken from Hijack - The Contract.
Jugore
When you get that little melody change on the main riff I still get a stiffy. Genius record.

Probably the best tune of 1992. Manic Stampede is an A-side tune too, something magical about the nutty, squirly synths (words often fail me :D), but there's something slightly lacking. It might be the b-line, which seems perhaps too hard and repetetive, i can't quite figure it out. Perhaps it's just being dwarfed by the flip. Even so, still a fantastic tune. But the A-side..Jesus Christ.. it's goosepimple time! The continuity of this track is flawless! Utterley rude, right from the very start to the very end and unlike most heavy , full on tunes, theres no headache second time around - you can listen to it over and over again (I remember one party where it got 6 or 7 rewinds, with ppl screaming "AGAIN, AGAIN!" ). Not one single ounce short of LEGENDARY
Malodor
I can't believe no-one has written a review for this yet. "This Sound Is For The Underground" is probably the single greatest hardcore tune ever. I wish I had something clever to say about this release, except that from the distinctive bassline to the hands in the air strings, it's one of those tunes that keeps on pumping all the way to the label. On the flipside is the awesome "Manic Stampede" with the 'She keeps on running' sample, another tune that never tires, although for my money the remix of this particular track is far superior.
