A definitive EP in the story of Black Nation Records i/m/h/o. Jay Denham delivers stunning pulse raising future music. "Pimp Slave" and "Love Tron" are great examples of the definitive Black Nation sound: geographically and sonically, somewhere between Chicago and Detroit. Killer EP!

Caveat. My first record. Review will be biased. Among the greatest tech/house ever recorded. "Halfway between Detroit and Chicago" was their motto a while after this was pressed. (They used to be headquartered in Kalamazoo.) Since then, everyone (as far as I know) has moved on from that shithole. Don't know what it is about crappy Michigan towns slamming out the greatest techno in the world, but hey, let's all just roll with it and enjoy the music.
