exactly i totally agree half the new stuff is mastered from vinyl' this is a good compilation but again ruined by overly bright remastered sound in my opinion' do these so called professional audio guys who compile these realise us humans have sensitive hearing and do not need to be mastered at such high volume, at these levels its no wonder half of the population have tinitus ;0most will say the originals were of real low quality and these are an improvement....(some cases) me personaliy find it far too loud i can turn old recordings up and they sound wonderful i turn these up and i end up turning it down to enjoy it.music in night clubs is similar with nasty and harsh sounding equipment spinning (not ;) from compressed music from their laptops on the fly....

i wonder if its possible to buy a CD these days with decent dynamic range that are NOT Vinyl rips.... another example of shoddy over bright ultra loud compilation jesus how loud are these manufactures gonna go.

I hear you and it's sad but good luck finding original master DAT or tape of Italo House. At best you could find original CDs if they were ever release on that media. It's the same for Italo Disco and plenty of other style. As soon as music was about home recordings people didn't really thought that someone would be still interested 20 years after. They were just happy to release it at the time. So they didn't take good care of the original masters.
