Pipet
how is the sound on this reissue? can anyone help me out?
Anayalore
My copy sounds great and clean, no issues at all.
JoJosho
thanks for that. i grabbed an original too and am very happy with it.
Shan
No pops or pressing issues with my copy, it plays fine but the sound is a little underwhelming, a bit short on clarity and dynamics. It's just... "ok", I would say. I give it a spin from time to time but I actually prefer the CD remaster that came out around the same time.edit: finally got my hands on an original pressing today (Sire, clear vinyl) which I would grade VG+, and of course it sounds way better
Jay
My copy is solid. I've read the negative comments about various reissues (not only this version) but fortunately my copy sounds great.
Buzalas
Both copies I got were awful. There must have been an issue with the pressing on one of the sides (I forget which). The first song or two has awful pops that make it unlistenable. I thought it may have been my particular copy but i returned it to Rhino and they sent me a new copy with the same issues. Their customer service was piss poor so I elected to keep my second copy rather than go through the hassle of returning it yet again. Avoid.
