On back cover: Verlobung im Traum, premiered by George Szell in 1933, is an energetic, entertaining and fleetly paced masterpiece. This opera of wit and tragedy, composed before Krása's deportation to Terezín, is an outstanding example of the extraordinary variety of Czech music suppressed by the Nazis.
