I own at least one copy of every studio Fall LP/EP, and have owned many in multiple formats over the years, both original press vinyl and CDs. I just have come here to heap praise as this is possibly the best sounding Fall CD I have (I have never heard the Line CDs of Hex or IRS CDs of first two records).Sounds like it comes from a mix of tape source and needle drop. "Look, Know" is a needle drop. Lie Dream has the same thunderous drums it has on my Room To Live Line Vinyl. The CD is very crankable and nearly perfect. Though I like my Sanctuary reissues, this is definitely less harsh and captures the drum sound of the era really well. Of course, for some reason the CD craps out as "And This Day" concludes, but the rest of it is perfect!
