Home recordings, demos, and studio outtakes.
CD 1 and 2 were mostly recorded between the Music Room, Far Leys, Tanworth-In-Arden and Hampstead, London, 1967/1969. Track 1-17 on CD 1 were recorded in the 'Music Room' Far Leys 1967/68. Tracks 18-23 on CD 1 were recorded in Hampstead and tracks 24/25 were taken from the John Peel sessions.

Tracks 1-7 and 24-27 on CD 2 were recorded at Sound Techniques in 1968. Tracks 8-11 from the Music Room, 12-15 from Hampstead and 16-23 are from a cassette titled 'Work Tape' which possibly was from the 'Music Room' Far Leys. Tracks 28-32 are not Nick Drake, merely examples of songs that Nick developed his playing style from. 28-30 are from 'Interplay One' on Longman, catalogue number LG 582 241367. Tracks 31-32 are from the Mick Audsley LP 'Dark and the Devil Waters' SNTF 641.
