Hy music friends, I got a special question according to this Air 12" Casanova 70 (from 1996) [and also to the Air Compilation from 1997 "Premiers Symptomes"]. I have the feeling that this 12' [as well as the Compilation from 1997 "Premiers Symptomes"] vinyl is really heavy. I thought maybe a 180g vinyl or 140g, 150g to 180g. Anyway I haven't found anything in research. The first 180g from that compilation is from 2016 I guess. But I mean the ORIGINAL 1996 and 1997 vinyls.. If any body can help me out with an answer would be great. Thanks!

I just checked my copy (Air Casanova 70 from 1996), and it's close to 200g!

A2 track Les profesessionels contains keyboards, guitar & bass melody later produced on "All I need" interplanetary hit.

RSD at it's most insipid.Take a record that you can find a NM/NM beautiful original copy of for around $20, press it on "WOO IT LOOKS SO PRETTY" vinyl, shove it in a PVC sleeve and flog it.Seriously? The pretty splatter vinyl I can forgive. Hey, collectors might like that. But a PVC sleeve? You know, those things that actively DESTROY VINYL?Foot, meet shot.

Er, yeah. So AIR are one of my favourite bands. I was literally just commenting on this RSD pressing.Plus, I have a full head of hair thank you.

oh my God-- i get over your old bald self..... I just discovered this group and love this! Stop hating

Take it out of the hard PVC sleeve as soon as you buy it however by now it is probably too late. For me the A-side is nearly unplayable & the B-side not much better.Sound quality is like a busted iPhone 3 playing a 96kbps under a mattress, this current push for non black pressings housed in hard PVC sleeves is ruining good music.

Found this in the RSD leftover bin in my local store. Looks gorgeous. Plastic sleeve is a nightmare and stuck very forcefully to both sides of the record and charged it up with tons of static that my anti static brush couldn't handle. Made the whole album sound like grizzly AM radio. Did a quick discwasher spin and left it sit out over night. It's playing better. Won't be using that plastic sleeve again!

Fantastic record, but a terrible sleeve. Tight PVC that stuck to the record, and putting the record in a proper inner sleeve now barely fits inside without making a wrinkled mess of the inner sleeve.

Sold out in many of the RSD participating stores within the first hour. This is a great release of our friendly purveyor's of fine French Electronica from Versailles. The vinyl is quite hypnotic. It is very close to the pressing that was also made for Alanis Morrissette RSD release, they physically look almost the same.

It's showing up now on many independent stores' website that sell their leftovers online, and from many sellers on here for the same price or less than it was sold for on Record Store Day, so I don't know that I'd say it was among the most sought-after releases. Like many Air RSD releases, they tend to press fairly generous quantities for their "limited editions" - I've seen several older releases floating around in shops for ages after release. Some (I'm thinking of "Playground Love") probably due to their recycling of readily-available content for an unattractive price, so time will tell whether that ends up being the case with this release. Worth noting also that more niche bands like Air tend to have spotty receptions at RSD - meaning that in big cities where they may be more known, it can seem like they're quick to fly off the shelves, but in other spots (like smaller cities or little shops that aren't known for or appealing to electronic buyers) they'll sit there unsold.

The two Lynch mob remixes have samples from Aphrodite's Child "666".
