Japanese producer Keita Sano has quietly been building up a rather impressive discography, delivering woozy, dreamy EPs full of dubbed-out Balearic grooves, soft focus house and jangling, emotion-rich dub disco. This third volume in his ongoing Pacific Tones series offers up another sublime trio of hazy, evocative cuts. Choose between the Claremont 56-ish Balearic beauty of "The Sun is Shining" (all sparkling acoustic guitars, chugging rhythms and dubwise effects), the snaking sax and bongo-laden dub disco rhythms of "Gold", and the funk-inspired percussive stomp of "Haruwofon"). All three are well worthy of attention.
