Going Deaf would be one of those tunes that really got me hooked onto Drum & Bass, and producing my own material. Its phat beats and rolling vibez, and that irresistable feel to dance when you put this tune on the plate. The vintage repeating vocal sample use by Marky & XRS is eminent here aswell. As with Sorriso De Flor, being a South American, latin influenced tune, it sets a much colder feeling. Both tracks are masterfully written and are a must have for DJ's. Respect to Marky, XRS and the rest of the Innerground crew!!!

The DJ Roots track is fantastic D&B with a South American influence. A soulful vocal sample (not sure exactly which language it’s in) and strong Brazilian flavour make the track really stand out. The A side 'Going Deaf' is typical DJ Marky & XRS with its deep bass and repetitive vocal sample. Certainly good, but the B side steals it for me.
