Coming from the likes of a Baltimore Club legend and breakbeat destroyer, DJ Rod Lee's, The "EP", does not disappoint. Most heads outside of Charm City will recognize 'Dance My Pain Away', from 'The Wire' fame, and while it is an amazing tune that mixes a lyrical style that is reminiscent to local low-budget car insurance (think 'Go-Gebco') and pay-day-esque loan commercials with the quintessential B-More Club break, the real slayer on this 12" is "What They Gown Do?" Ferocious, anthem of a tune that is the epitome of what any Bodymore Gee-Theme should sound like. Much love and respect for the godfather of a scene, you make me proud to rep my city!
