Side A & Side B originally released in Prestige/Bluesville 1086 - "Down Home Blues" (recorded May 4 & 5, 1964),
except track A1 (Lightnin' Hopkins interviewed by Sam Charters) which originally released in Prestige 7370 - "Lightnin' Hopkins - My Life In The Blues" (recorded December 2, 1964).
Sides C & D originally released as Prestige/Bluesville 7377 - "Soul Blues" (recorded May 4 & 5 , 1964).

There are some letters with the matrix numbers on sides 1 and 2. Side one has a lightly stamped 'B' while side 2 has an etched 'A'. Unsure if this is a one-time mistake, or if it is present on all copies, but sides 3 and 4 do have a "C" and "D" both etched, respectively. Side 3 however also has an "A6" etched similar to the "A" present on side 2. On side 3 there is also as upside-down letter "G" as described in the Barcodes and Identifiers section, this may or may not be present on all copies.
Side 4 appears to have a minuscule stamped "0" opposite the etched writing. Side 4 also has a stamped "P", like the one on side 2.

Blue labels.
