Broadcaster
Just got this one... sound quality is infinitely better than the 1989 MSP Sessions version of it.
Gaua
If I could guess it's likely the same as the 2002 release, I have that one and it sounds good considering it most likely came from the CD version.
Jeronashe
Anybody have word on the quality of this particular pressing?
Blacknight
Yes, it’s amazing. I heard the CD version years ago and I don’t think there is any difference.

this release is excellent! quality, quality, quality. sounds superb! "12 hits from hell" (this release) kills!!! as apposed to the "1980 MSP Sessions" which i also have and as near as i can tell that release is either from a 3rd generation tape, or does not have the 2 guitar mix that "12 Hits From Hell" has. or both. likely its a different mix, and is from a 3rd or 4th generation tape. i still like the "1980 msp sessions" because its fucking loud! sounds like it was recorded in the raw. however, that said, if you've got your pick, definitely get "12 hits from hell" as it is, besides "walk among us" the fucking best!
