MeGa_NunC
Earmark is worst label I've ever heard, any reissue. I get rid of all their vinyls.
Faezahn
Timeless classic and an excellent pressing. Gnawing midrangey guitar tone, clear and raw pure sound. Remaster is very polished sounding and has all the midrange sucked out of it, very scooped in comparison to the original, loses that old school vibe.
Doktilar
The original has a much better balanced sound while this reissue sounds kinda shrill and has a thin midrange at moments; too modern I'd say. Regarding the art, is clear when you watch it that is a reissue: kinda blurred compared against the original noise. It's worth it for the extras and books given is not so expensive, at least for now...
Gelgen
Good shit! Unlike the '99 release, this one makes the album sound consistent from start to finish. The packaging is really nice, too, a good hardback booklet with nicer print quality of that famous artwork than the '99 version. DR9, which isn't too bad at all, well worth the improvements in the mix, I think it's the definitive version for overall SQ. Would recommend.
inetserfer
Have to agree. It sounds amazing. Will have to get the LP version next.
Jum
If you love this Metal classic this or the original Noise pressing are the ones to get. They are the best sounding versions you'll find and if you love this album there totally worth the money.
Whiteflame
This record got released in South Korea in the early '90s, as most of the Heavy Metal albums, after the fall of communist regime.
crazy mashine
i think that this cd version is unofficial like russian pirate relases
Cildorais
Hi,This is an official repressing from 1993. There IS a Russian bootleg very similar to this official repress, though; the way to tell the difference is the way the matrix/runout looks. Hope this helped.
Armin
Any opinions on how this reissue compares to the original pressings sound wise? I kinda wish they just reissued the full length on double LP at 45rpm sans the bonus tracks.
Mmsa
If you haven't found out for yourself yet I'm afraid you'll be disappointed...This has nowhere near the fidelity of the original pressing (or early represses). It is quite clearly digitally sourced and not in a good way, at least to my ears. The posters and booklet are cool, but I would much rather have a mix that was made specific to vinyl and one that is more faithful to the original. Put any money you'd spend on this towards a clean original!
Hellstaff

Regarding the art, is clear when you watch it that is a reissue: kinda blurred compared against the original noise. Vozuru
The originals will most likely be better, but I don't have them for comparison. I was a bit disappointed by the vinyl remasters to be honest. The sound is clearly remastered in a loudness wars-sense. The discs were also covered in white dirt and with fingers prints on them. It was the same with my Morbid Tales reissue.
Mullador
The average rating on this press is high...can anybody comment specifically on the audio quality, perhaps even compare to an earlier pressing? Thanks.
Gold Crown
It sounds almost exactly the same as my Banzai copy.I also have a South Korean version of the Noise pressing and it sounds just like the Banzai, and Earmark pressings.Perfect sound for an audiophile such as myself.
Gir
Hey, l just bought a NM copy for $40 Canadian. When I get it, I will compare the sound quality to my Banzai copy from 1985 and let you know.
Saithinin
Please friend, What is the value of shipping to Brazil?
Ceck
There isn't an exact shipping value to Brazil. Each seller is different, so I would suggest asking them about what their shipping quotes are. Ask them though, this album is 100% worth it.
Āłł_Ÿøūrš
Dude what are you doing, talk to sellers don't post that here
Aedem
What is the value of shipping to Brazil, please friend?
Agalas
i have a test-pressing of "To Mega Therion" LP - no cover, just a white innersleeve.
Marr
epic classic of Metal that still has not been surpassed . Best elements of Thrash ,Doom, and maybe Black Metal with a truly atmospheric avant. edge. Chainsaw guitar sound like no one else could recreate . one of my fav's still after all these years. A must listen for any Metal fan that (if possible??)never heard this, and if you haven't and you were around in the 80's listening to Metal, put away the goddamned Poison, Metallica and Motley Crue and get into some real Metal!!
Nuadador
High on fire has been copying this record for ten years
Mitars Riders
No surprise. They're an American band. Many bands here are lame rip offs of European bands.
Mojind
I bought this for the cover art which is still one of my all-time favourites and was very pleasantly surprised to find something inside that was truly in 1985 in a class of its own and without peers. No other band sounded even remotely like this and Necromantical Screams truly sounded as if they had lowered a mic. into some remote corner of Hell and recorded the results. Even my grandmother loved it and said it would "scare the you-know-what" out of her bridge club! This is a must-own for anyone that wants to claim they have a complete collection of Metal history 6 out 5 stars...a masterpiece!
