Mcoy Tyner's recordings with Avery Sharpe and Aaron Scott are favorites for me and this recording also features Brazillian, NYC based trumpeter Claudio Roditi, who contributed two compositions on this recording. This is an exceptional and underappreciated recording. Three songs from this same recording session not included on this CD are available on the title, "Double Exposure" LRC - CDC9040 which combines those three tracks with an additional six tracks by Roland Hanna.Another Tyner trio recording that features Avery Sharpe and Aaron Scott is, " Remembering John" (1991 on the ENJA label.)
