Kupidon
Does anyone know the difference between the 1971 original and 1971 repress - both G/F and both with the same catalogue number.
Ceck
I've just checked with my copy : the extra text at the very bottom on the rear of the sleeve is just "DIVISION OF ATLANTIC RECORDING CORPORATION" ....
Nirad
From the pictures provided, although not very clear, it looks like there is more text at the very bottom on the rear of the sleeve on the supposed repress. You are right about the text on the bottom right inside the G/F also. I really want to buy this LP but don't know which version is the right original. I might just buy the UK Phillips release and put me out my misery.
Lahorns Gods
We talk about this one https://www.discogs.com/Gil-Scott-Heron-Pieces-Of-A-Man/release/430690?ev=item-vc vs this one https://www.discogs.com/Gil-Scott-Heron-Pieces-Of-A-Man/release/8631499 . From what I've noticed, the other version has an extra bit of text inside gatefold at the bottom of right page that the "original" gatefold hasn't. Please check the pictures provided for each release. Appart from that, I've noticed no difference at all ! Hope this helps.

Amazing piece of work. My favourite Gil Scott Heron Album.
