Clément Bazin is much more than a beatmaker. His music flirts with the rhythms and sounds of hip-hop, yet he refuses simplicity and plays the role of the one-man band.After having released a convincing EP in June 2012, Clément has hardly had a rest. He’s travelled the world for a year as an instrumentalist with Woodkid, but has kept on making music every time he had the chance during the tour. He created music for his own personal project as well as for his collaborative project with singer Jesabel. Their duet, called Hijacked, is planning on releasing a promising EP at the beginning of 2014.As a teacher of steelpan, Clément Bazin has developped an incredible musical sensitivity through an unusual yet haunting mix of genres: beatmaking, fragile piano melodies, techno influences.
