Anne Clark - Our Darkness / Sleeper In Metropolis / Self Destruct mp3 album

This is one of the few pieces of my collection I really regret getting rid of. Sure I've got these tracks on other compilations, but the piece as an artifact reminds me of the particular time it represented in music. It still seemed like everything was possible, but not everything had been done twice already and everything wasn't available in two or three mouse-clicks. I remember hearing all three of these tracks on a show on a local community radio station here in Kansas City and this being one of the things I hunted down from that. Part of the reason it reminds me so vividly of a specific time is that it also represents a very small window of time in the music industry. A 3" CD with an adapter? What did that last, about 2 years? It also represents an equally small window of time in my life. Anne Clark was my idea of a goddess at the time! Still would be if I didn't know that they don't make them like that anymore (it's an 80s thang) and that, with that haircut, there's a good chance they wouldn't be interested in me.
