Listening to the tunes now, post-glow, really brings home how much music can cement memories into your long term memory and hearing them again at a later date instigates an effortless recall of that memory. Underworld really seemed to come back from the dead (as far as the public eye goes) on this project. Caliban's Theme and Always Loved A Film (Instrumental) are excellent tunes. And High Contrast (really? the drum and bass outfit???) turn out a fair few respectable originals and edits. The inclusion of F Buttons and Blanck Mass was inspired; quite surprising. Apart from the fact that the F Buttons track being called Olympians I suppose, but then again, you didn't see Gene in there did you? :0)Not going to get (too) dewy-eyed, but if you enjoyed the Olympics, a lot, and are all desolate now that it's over, this album will almost certainly do something for you.Foot-note: can some bright spark press this album up on 5 coloured vinyls (blue, red, green, yellow and black Olympic rings). You'll have my order straight off :0)
