Hard to disagree with you LIFELINE - your review is as eloquent as Blames production - pure class in terms of the atmospherics and arrangement of the beats - something I often play when driving the long trek up north to my home town.

“Solitude” - Imagine standing alone, perched on the edge of a precipice in the clearing of a picturesque tropical rainforest, hearing droplets of water cascading over a lush green canopy stretched out on the horizon before you. Feel the humidity rising from the basin below through the soft fertile ground beneath your feet, hear the strange echoes in the distance and you will start to grasp the essence of this track. The layered beats are programmed to the extent that they sound like falling rain, the gentle pan pipes are haunting, yet at the same time exude an overwhelming sense of peace. “Solitude”, in my opinion, along with J-Walkin' (Earth Vol. 2), is Blame’s best work to date and definitely some of the highest quality, most beautiful drum and bass ever produced.

Not only that but 'Cuban Lynx' is another well-crafted tune. It build up to a mammoth bassline that hits you in the chest and will fill any room. Add a tribal drum beat, shaker and percussion samples and you're drifting away again, high into the stratosphere
