Jeff Mills - Expanded mp3 album

The "AX-010 Growth EP" saga continues. Intended as a extension of the thought-provoking "Growth EP" that was release 10 years ago, Expanded EP embarks on its second journey into the unknown with these never-released compositions. The shape of all 3 compositions are absolute. Near perfect. The depth of each composition is massive. So much so, that it took numerous mastering sessions to contain the extreme frequencies Mills' uses for this special vinyl 12' release. Mills quotes: "I tried to represent the outer rims of our (Earths) solar system through sound and silence - stretching the anticipated attacks longer and longer as time accumulates. The effect is something special". We resolved the mastering with references to Classical Music. So by, lowering the overall level, we were able to conform to the format of vinyl". Mills chose the symbolic color of white as the vinyl color in the design to represent an unknown destination in space and/or time
