Track 5 listed there as 'Slo Burn' is actually titled 'Wheelfall', as John Garcia had termed it live. Unknown then if 'Slo Burn' was a misprint or a tentative title.

Why these other tracks weren't released officially I'll never know. They're all bloody good. They just need mastering properly... At the time I remember this being slagged off for being 'too Kyuss-like', but really, you've got the singer of said Kyuss and he's just finding his feet in another band, so what if it's Kyuss-like? It's inevitably going to be Kyuss-like at first. And anyway the songs still rock. I think this promo was sold at a couple of gigs they did (er, come to think of it, did they actually do ANY gigs?! LOL!), and also given to the band, band's friends and label employees, label's friends etc...They'd do well to polish these songs up and do another limited release. A 12" edition would be very nice indeed, I'd settle for a cd release though... perhaps a digipak or something like the Sons Of Kyuss cd release (the digipak version I mean, not the jewel case, though ultimately it really wouldn't matter too much! =o)

I assure you they did gigs. I saw them play the side stage of Ozzfest twice in Charlotte NC in 1997 I believe. They were so damn good I missed half of Type O Negative the second set. They played a lot of the unreleased songs and didn't even do Pilot The Dune either set (which at the time bummed me out. Now I'm just thankful i saw them!)

Dude I totally agree , I love this fucking release, I always wished they could have like you said mastered it properlly but I still love it just the way it is. Every song is catchy as shit.

Yeah ! after seeing them Live on festival this summer I can tell we definitely need a 12" press...

They will be available at SOME point in the not-to-distant future. I've spoken to Chris (Hale, Guitar) about it several times. Once Brave Black Sea (new band with ex Slo Burn, Kyuss, Qotsa members) have finished their new album (sometime 2015) and when J. Garcia is free from his current solo commitments (about the same time probably) they're all gonna meet up and see what can be done. We will hear proper studio mastered versions of these tracks tho :-)
