David Bowie - Live Nassau Coliseum '76 mp3 album

I just bought this recently and I know and love the scorching live "Stay" from David Bowie - Station To Station. This does not contain that exact performance of that song by a long shot. Bowie tried to hit a note and stumbled, then he intentionally stumbled several more times in a row. As if he had done it intentionally the first time. Here, it's been crudely airbrushed out of existence by Maslin's ham-handed retouching into blasé pseudoperfection. Sigh. At least they didn't ruin Hadon's ferocious solo.

A lot of fans already had it bootlleged but this official release is excellent. The sound quality is really good. A great show from Bowie's funky era.

Identical to the one included in the STS 2010 boxset, complete with horribly distorted "Life On Mars".

My copy skips at the end of side 2 during Queen Bitch. Wondering if anyone else has that problem. A mfg defect?

Mine skipped at the end of Suffragette into Fame, took it back and got a perfect one.

Why is this official, legit release rolled-up under 40 years of dodgy bootleg releases from some or all of the same show? Is that the way it should be?

I created a separate master release and grouped 2017 releases under it.

And before its inclusion on the recent box set, was included (and made its very first official appearance) on the Station to Station remastered box set in 2010, I believe. For all purposes, this is the very first time it has been released as a stand-alone album instead of being exclusive to a box set or as a bootleg of the radio broadcast.
