Interesting to read the review from 2003, accusing the record of being too slow!! That just shows you how powerful and pure the ecstasy pills were during that time period. Those pills got dancers so fired up that 127bpm bedrock prog felt painfully slow. Boy o boy I wonder what that person would think now at the typical tech house party :0)

The Bedrock dub featured in one of my favourite essential mixes (S & D's Delta Heavy mix from 2002). I remember Digweed playing 20 minutes worth of Chilling moments, both the bedrock mix and the bedrock dub. If you don't enter a trance like state during this record then you'll most likely get bored and leave it be but for me this is a great record!

Although these are two very nice tracks that came off of Bedrock, this record went straight to the back of my DJ crate. I can't imagine people dancing to this stuff live. It's just too slow! At home listening to these songs is much different than in a club/rave environment.

This isn't an early or late set kind of track. This is a mid set track dropped around 1-2am when the crowd is geeked out and want to be taken deeper into their state of mind. This would be the slowest and deepest track, then progressively build until daylight!
