Well, i think its a wrong info by Dark Entries. The vocalist isnt never ever Clara Moroni ...sorry. Further more the logic doesnt work here...because her first background-singer job started as a very young lady for "Love at first" by Joe Yellow (1986).

I wonder if the same Clara Moroni that brought her vocals to various releases like "Just a Game" and "Listen" brought her vocals to this record.

I agree that this is a great record - I can explain why it sounds like a love song too - the lyrics are about a woman who has a romantic/sexual fantasy about living in the jungle with a handsome and brave Tarzan. It's almost a shame how rare this record is - it's hard to find in good quality even in mp3. Hopefully someone will take the initiative and compile it on a CD someday soon, but as the I Love Disco Diamonds series from Blanco Y Negro now seems to have ended, god knows who will be up to the challenge!

"Tarzan Loves The Summernight" by Big Ben Tribe is nothing short of amazing. Not only is this 12" extremely rare and sound amazing, but it also boasts one of the more interesting 12" cover arts of the italo disco era. Big Ben Tribe had several other songs, but this is the only one I would recommend. It's probably the best song on the Gong Records label. In case you don't know this song, it's a very slow and quirky song with some very soft and gentle female vocals. It's unique because it sounds more like an italo disco love song, but all the vocalist is singing about is how Tarzan loves the summer nights. This one goes for a lot of $$$ on eBay and elsewhere because this one definately fills the void on the Gong label.

if you know complete catalogue of gong records, you will find very dificult to guess wich realese was better, i'm talking about, sensitive driving, flexx theme from deep, of course big ben tribe, fred ventur the years..remember not for to be famous and comercial must be worst, and some other. good luck.
