Amazing Boxset!! Nice production of the sleeves and insert, the music is the very sharp, the boys are playing at there best in these sessions. Nice mixing and mastering, overall a very good value!!
Bele
Does anybody can confirm that in THIS RE-issue the '71er Whole Lotta Love Version was cut 7 Minutes from Medley?!

For the pedants out there, it's only missing:- White Summer/Black Mountain Side - 23.4.1970 Jimmy probably considers this a solo performance, but it would have been nice to have
Gerceytone
Awesome set, but still missing:- What Is And What Should Never Be 19.3.1969- White Summer/Black Mountain Side - 23.4.1970 (although I reckon Jimmy might consider this a solo performance)

Sadly I didn't read it - mea culpa! Unfortunately, I had you confused with the many gormless idiots who send through ill-informed replies to these sorts of things. Anyway, to respond to your initial comment: Yes, wow, I didn't know that and some further digging revealed evidence to suggest the Wikipedia info you referenced is absolutely correct, see http://www.ledzeppelin.com/node/346/819#comment-819 for more infoI will try and modify my initial comments to include this. Many thanks for your persistence!

thesuperlloyd It exists - I have it. Presumably it was left off the new set because it is slightly incomplete and has some radio static at the beginning. Did you read what I sent you? "The show was re-run later in 1969, adding the recording of "What Is And What Should Never Be" from the June 16 session."

there was no "What Is And What Should Never Be 19.3.1969" according to thishttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Sessions_(Led_Zeppelin_album)#Recording_information

baconizgud4me Does anyone know the source of these? Analogue or digi? I can't tell you for sure, its only a guess. But I would say the source was first analog, and then they digitalize it for this release (thats how most record companies do it these days I'm afraid...)
