I just got this for 25p in a charity shop - but even at that low cost it was over-priced. Dated, hackneyed beats and terrible vocal samples. Like disco music for tone-deaf daleks. Dreary, awful rubbish. Might have sounded on-point in 1990 but I doubt even that.

The tracks i played mostly of this was A3 Obsession B1 See Saw.A3 is a Deep trippy Balearic House track sampling Robert Owens voice from Tears with a killer bassline. The album itself is a cut and paste and heavily sampled with mostly "Euro & USA" classics or anthems at the time. Obvious samples used are Todd Terry, Adamski, Gino Latino, Sueno Latino, Musto & Bones, Doug Lazy and 808 State. Nothing on here sounds cheap and nasty though all top sounds, i was always searching for LP tracks to be different then every other dj and mix tape that was circulating and this was a nice option alot of people overlooked.

Honestly, I like this album. It's from a time in underground music that will never come back and it captures the primitive sound without trying too hard. Reminds me of the early 90's and that's a good thing. 1990 was a pivotal time in electronic music and this is an interesting yet bland-ish record. Nothing very special - but as a whole it's a little gem.

Notes from Adam Norris (label co-owner):"FEHLMANN’S ALBUM WAS RELEASED ON WAU MODO, IT WAS REALLY DULL AND BORING, HE WENT FOR A VERY COSTLY SLEEVE, INCLUDING PARTS IN SILVER PRINT WHICH WAS FUCK OFF EXPENSIVE TO REPRO. WE DID SHIP OUT QUITE A LOT THROUGH A DISTRIBUTOR IN EAST LONDON (MIGHT HAVE BEEN CALLED G&M). THEY WENT BUST OWING US ABOUT 20 GRAND, SO ANOTHER PILE OF CASH WENT SAILING DOWN THE DRAIN. WE GOT OFF LIGHTLY, MIND YOU, THE SAME PEOPLE OWED WARP OVER 100 GRAND AT THAT TIME, WHICH ALMOST KILLED OFF WARP COMPLETELY."
