MOST of GG's mid-late 80's music is shit minus a few albums that he made earlier on in his career and the last album he made in 1993 before his death which is probably the most angry music I've ever heard. This album, however, is a classic. I absolutely love it. It's genuinely good and it shows you that he DID have talent and he could've been a great musician had he not had all of the mental health problems that he had. It shows you that he was capable of making a good album. This is an album I'd take with me if I was a hitchhiker. He references Hank Williams and I think Johnny Cash as well which both had a huge influence on him musically. Everything just sounds nice and all the tracks are so well written. Carmelita, Outskirts Of Life, and Fuck Authority are my favorites I'd have to say.
