Eric Sneo - Tenuta Primero mp3 album

With this record Eric Sneo really shows his class. Usually known for the more hard techno tracks, Eric brings three total different tracks but with a common factor. All tracks have the same dark atmosphere that I love. 'Tenuta Primero' is a dark techno trance monster with a deep goa like sound that continuos through out the song with filter changes but the rhythm section stays techno. Atmospheric strings give this track a melancholic feeling. Nice. Both tracks on the B side have more electro like influences. In 'At The Pier' I think we can hear the influence of Yello with some samples. This track is also dark and melancholic with distance voices and a pumpin bassline driven by a compressed bassdrum. Everything is topped of with a swirling tom of some kind. Superb stuff. The track 'Moving Rage' is the hardest track on this 12". Hard bassdrum moves a broken bassline which is supported by a stringish sound. Underlying layers of swirlin pads complete this track. Three different tracks but the same. Respect Mr. Eric Sneo.
