What? Robert Miles did stuff after his worldwide hit "Children"? This collection of remixes off his album ORGANIK shows that he still might have a little life in him after all. The Future Sound of London, still in psychedelic mode, give a slow, string-laden mix of "Paths," while Alexkid takes "Wrong" down a cinematic tour of Morocco's underbelly. Riton does the electrofunk that he does so well on "Pour Te Parler," while Kuzu go darker and deeper and more spare on that track, and Fissure take it into dub techno territor. Da Lata, unfortunately, have a rare misstep with their Middle Eastern take of "Release Me." Chamber, meanwhile, offer a near-industrial mix of "It's All Coming Back" and 2nd Gen pick up on that vibe and carry it into their take of "Separation." The mysterious PunkA Fro throws some bizarro breaks onto "Connections." Si Begg goes a bit crazy with "Improvisations Pt. 2," while the Fabrics take that same track and turn it onto some funky breaks. Miles' own works on this album, however, including his own mix of "Paths" show him struggling to build a post-"Children" identity.
