A gorgeous, timeless release from blockhead, this is one that I truly regret letting go from my collection - it has everything a classic requires - melancholic notes, shuffling beats, fantastic sample and vocals that don't compete with the orchestration, and not to mention an excellent visual design. Highly recommended for those who enjoy the UK downtempo approach to hip hop, DJ Shadow, DefJux, and all ninjas who might have slept on this one.

This is the one with a picture disc -> green vinyl + pic on both sides. 'A New Day' samples again the Nina Simone's version of 'Feeling Good' wrote by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley. Gladly it works well, although my personal favourites are 'Triptych Part 3' (hypnotic bassline + sample) and the title track (very interesting use of vocal). Great EP, check it out. -Samus
