High Contrast - Racing Green mp3 album

Don't own too many Drum & Bass records, but this is one amazing tune, that just makes you feel happy and uplifted!

Racing Green - one of my top 10 D&B/Liquid Funk tunes of all time & space. ended up on a DJ A-Sides mix. ended up eating a space cake @ the end of the night. ended up playing the mix in my car on the ride hom from the club. ended up rewinding the track 20+ times on the coldest night of the year, and passing out stone cold, only to wake up in the morning, frozen solid. i've even had a really hot gal I have a crush on, tell me that everytime she hears this tune, it reminds her of me. THANK YOU LINK! FEELS GOOD!!!

Barret proves he's a genius producer. This track stays so good after two years it's been released. The vocals stay out until the break and leaves one astonished. When the tune drops all the sounds are in perfect equilibrium. I spin this record every set and never got tired from it.

I've been a fan of High Contrast for a while now and this release has cemented my faith in his production skills. Absolutely blinding record, probably one of my all time favourite drum n bass tracks along with Roni Size - Brown Paper Bag (Photek Mix) and Bambaata by Shy FX. This record really does have all the magic ingredients for a storming d&b record - the bouncy bassline which kicks in at the right moment, the perfect little riffs and stuttered vocals but most importantly some perfect string work.

Well, the welsh Drum'n Bass producer: High Contrast comes back with a new album in his hand, this release is extracted from -High Society-. It contains two interessant liquid drum'n bass tracks, -Racing green- with his very cinematic gimmick creates a really good groove, nice work! -St Ives- is more House influenced music, with is filtred piano riff and the vocal samples, it's a good b-side but too much repetitive to be really effective.
